Carn Edward circular banked enclosures
More great Bing images. Four circular enclosures with low banks, to the north of Carn Edward on the common of Carningli Mountain. Visibility depends on the state of the gorse and bracken. The closest one to the rocks of Carn edward is the bottom one. The other three are in a cluster a bit further away from the rocks.
The two smallest ones might conceivably be hut circles, but the other two are too large to have been roofed. What were they for?
