THE BOOK
Some of the ideas discussed in this blog are published in my new book called "The Stonehenge Bluestones" -- available by post and through good bookshops everywhere. Bad bookshops might not have it....

Carn Edward circular banked enclosures

More great Bing images.  Four circular enclosures with low banks, to the north of Carn Edward on the common of Carningli Mountain.  Visibility depends on the state of the gorse and bracken.  The closest one to the rocks of Carn edward is the bottom one.  The other three are in a cluster a bit further away from the rocks.

The two smallest ones might conceivably be hut circles, but the other two are too large to have been roofed.  What were they for?
