Interesting in that what is left of the monument today seems to be functional towards the mid summer sunrise as the other quarters are incomplete or missing . Lends a bit of support for the " Never fully completed" theory , you can just hear it in the wind "How much longer will this take to build ? "...... "Look keep the guvnor happy and get that bit up first will you, at least they can start playing with it then "......
