The Devil's Stone at Shebbear

I just came across this wonderful photo by James Ravilious of the turning of the Devil's Stone at Shebbear in Devon. A little reminder that there are erratic boulders in the strangest of places.......

Clearly a marvellous photographer! I note he has exhibited at the renowned Beaford Centre in North Devon, as well as the National Photographic Centre in Bath.

We've discussed the Devil's Stone Shebbear in Posts a few years ago, oooh - aargh.

He was also featured on Countryfile. Apparently they are working on a big new exhibition of his work. I have a fabulous book of his photos.

The above earlier comment would more accurately have been represented, in keeping with the North Devon/ 'Borchester Archer's' vernacular, as "oooh - aarrrh!"
