Senams in Libya

Just for fun, this is one of the megalithic structures (age unknown, but apparently pre-Roman) called "senams" in Libya.   Apparently in some of the strange structures (there are hundreds of them) the builders used woodworking methods, as at Stonehenge. Looks familiar?  Was Stonehenge built by an itinerant group of Arab senam builders?

Rather than Arabs coming to England, why not an English academic going on a grand tour, say in the late 16th early 17th century. And just for fun say he studies ancient architecture in Italy. Lets say he is a bit of a theatrical fellow and on his return he conspires with some of his well to do friends to construct a folly on their land, a construction similar to sketches he saw on his travels.
