Waun Mawn excavations
Just out of interest, this 2020 satellite image shows the Waun Mawn standing stone and recumbent stones towards the top of the image, and the excavation sites around the circumference of the imaginary circle. The disturbed patches of ground are visible because of the lighter colouring. As we can see, most of the work was concentrated on the western part of the putative stone circle.
