THE BOOK
Some of the ideas discussed in this blog are published in my new book called "The Stonehenge Bluestones" -- available by post and through good bookshops everywhere. Bad bookshops might not have it....

Images from Castlemartin

There are some fabulous images of the limestone coast of Castlemartin in a new web-based talk by Toby Driver.  Worth listening and viewing!  Based on some project work on coastal promontory forts including drones and other high-tech equipment last year........

If I had known they were doing this, I would have asked them for some drone images of clifftop sediments in inaccessible locations -- but sadly, most archaeologists are not very interested in sediments..........

Flimston Castles is one of the most spectacular limestone coastal features in the UK.......

Brian, did you see Neil "Walking Backwards for Christmas" Oliver on the "Coast" repeat at 20.40 hours tonight? Work's Head nearly claimed him as one of it's own, you know....

Yes, saw that -- rather an ancient programme. Some nice shots of the scenery! And Alice flirting with the camera as usual......

Amazingly there were TWO programmes showing Pembrokeshire's natural scenery on at the same time, as BBC4 showed an hour - long repeat.

Regarding Toby Driver, he would be a good bloke to keep in good contact with, would be not?
