New search facility

Since this blog now has a lot of entries, I have added a search facility. Seems to work OK -- feel free to try it out!

NO lets leave the term bluestone to mean any Stonehenge orthostats lithology that is NOT sarsen.

You and I may want to do that, but it's too late! What about fragments and flakes at Stonehenge that may or may not be related to orthostats / monoliths? What about bits and pieces from the Cursus or the Avenue or even Bluestonehenge? Is the Boles Barrow boulder of spotted dolerite not to be called a bluestone simply because it isn't at Stonehenge? We are stuck with that wretched term......
