Thanks to Pete G for warning me about the irritation involved in getting through this wretched "word verification" thing called CAPCHA. It probably discourages lots of people from commenting.
I think I have now managed to turn it off..... would somebody please now confirm this for me?

Agree with Dave, hopefully this will be accepted minus CAPCHA. Hope the likes of Mike Pitts joins our fringe group before it turns into the mainstream.

Thank you all -- let's hope this makes life easier for everybody. blogger warns that without CAPTCHA I may be plagued by spammers and trolls -- but I doubt that. We shall see.....

ReplyDeleteWell, I hope so -- but I have already received a few bits of spam dumped on me by some crawler device. I suppose I could ask my Mailbox to simply dump anything that comes in from Anonymous straight into the trash bin -- before I even see it.......
