Millennium stone minus its sledge

 

Thanks to Dave Maynard for sending this rather sad photo of the Millennium Stone.  It's still at the National Botanical Garden of Wales, but since I last saw it, its sledge has clearly rotted away and has been got rid of..........  what a pathetic end for such a glorious project!
