The Angel Mountain Project

In case anybody wonders what I've been up to lately, for 4 months I have been rather preoccupied with the making of this small video.  Nothing at all to do with Stonehenge or the Ice Age -- but there is more to life than bluestones.........

What a lot of work just for 90 secs of film!  Three days of filming in the open air, two studio sessions for the voiceover, many skype conferences and phone calls, and endless agonizing over the choice of background music, still photographs, drone sequences, and Shutterstock images to be purchased.  We had to find Anna (our actress / model), find the costume, find the locations etc -- and goodness knows how many versions there were before we finally decided upon this one.    Ken Bird did the filming and production work, and I did the still photography.  My son Steve composed and recorded the music, and Jake Hollyfield did the voiceover recording.  It was all done on a shoestring, with everybody volunteering their time and expertise  -- all driven by the conviction that the 8 novels of the Saga MUST be turned into a multi-part costume drama for global TV streaming.

So this is just one step on a long road.  Anyway, the little "teaser video" might prove entertaining for the faithful followers of the blog.  So -- enjoy!

  4. Yes, the top of Carningli always has wind -- and it's the sort of place where you have to spread your arms wide and enjoy the pleasures of having long hair......
