Prehistoric Quarrying in South America


 Some of the big shaped stones at Puma Punku, Bolivia -- one of the most famous sites where large stones have been used a long way from their places of origin -- or so it is assumed.....


Thanks to Rob for providing this reference.  Haven't been able to look at it myself, and I don't know if it is online -- any info gratefully received!
