EH plan of Stonehenge
Thought this was worth sharing -- a nice clear plan of the Stonehenge stone settings, from the EH web site with full acknowledgement. Click to enlarge.
Interesting in that what is left of the monument today seems to be functional towards the mid summer sunrise as the other quarters are incomplete or missing . Lends a bit of support for the " Never fully completed" theory , you can just hear it in the wind "How much longer will this take to build ? "...... "Look keep the guvnor happy and get that bit up first will you, at least they can start playing with it then "......
