A seriously big glacial erratic.....

A well worn glacial erratic as big as a house, on a plain covered by glacial litter, Kjove Land, East Greenland.  Photo taken during the OU East Greenland Expedition, fifty years ago, in August 1962.  My good friend David Sugden is pondering on whether we could climb onto the top of it.  We never did manage.....
