Cheddar Gorge and Burrington Combe

Old air photos of Cheddar Gorge (above) and Burrington Combe (below).  A lot of trees have grown up since these were taken......

    With a little imagination, the first photo in your post looks like a well crusted well baked loaf of Italian bread! Including the 'cracks in the crust'!
